One fine day.

This past weekend we had a little photo shoot in downtown Provo. We thought it would be good to document some "last moments" together. Big thanks to Jesse, our photographer :)

We snuck in a photo shoot of Jesse with some bubbles.

I love this picture; it's so soft and pretty.

This picture was Jesse's idea, pretty cool huh?

We found this ladder behind Guru's.

Love you ladies.

wide open spaces

{Erin, Me, Aubry, Jessica}

I drew this picture during church a few months ago. But don't worry. Even while drawing I was still, very intently, listening to the speaker. It's just a little tribute to my roommates of the last three years. Our time is almost at an end. We're all heading off in different directions...and I just have one thing to say....

I love you ladies.

the lost boys

Stephanie Meyers has it all wrong. Yes, sorry ladies (and hopeful Edward's out there). If you are still waiting, yet to find the satisfaction of passion cradled in the oh-so-tempting thirst for human blood, and if you want the honest, uncommercialized truth about vampires...I suggest you spend 97 minutes watching the rockin' eighties film, "The Lost Boys". Originally released with the tagline, Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It's fun to be a vampire, I guarantee that it's going to clarify the reality of vampire life. I know, I's hard. I, too, was hesitant. No one really wants to believe the ugly faced traditions. You know, like how vampires have fangs, skeletal-like faces, wear capes and actually sleep hanging like bats (seriously...bats?) but it is time to face the truth, ugly as it may be.

But don't worry, no tears need be shed, cause in the end Edward is still going to love Bella.
I suggest checking it out. Take a preview HERE.

so cute.

Jesse says girls love anything cute.

I can't really argue with that when I, myself, gawk over "baby size" Godiva chocolates in the shape of little chicks, go giddy when I see a fluffy white puppy dog, and repeatedly enjoy a song or two that really aren't good but tell some sort of "cute" love story.

(I know, cute right?)

But really, what can I say? I don't see how you could look at these little chocolates and not think "How cute!" I was once told that girls emphasize the "U" when saying cute. So it's more like, "Oh my gosh, that is so cuuuute!"

Oh and Happy Easter!

talking some trash

trash talk: disparaging or boastful language used to demoralize or intimidate opponents.

Recently Jesse and I have been getting into Puzzle Bobble and Bomberman 2 for Supernintendo. Both of the games are easy enough for me (a gaming rookie) to play, but still challenging enough for Jesse to enjoy (even though he wins the majority of the time). And because of this I've come to understand some basics of the video gaming culture, mainly: trash talk. I've always thought it was pointless and silly, but I have recently become an avid "trash talker".

Jesse and I will sit on the couch playing and I'll throw out something like, "enjoy that" and then he'll respond by hitting me with a bunch of bobble balls, and say "no, you enjoy that..." and then I loose. My trash talk vocab includes "take that", "eat that", "enjoy", "try to keep up", or "you might as well give up"...and other really cutting edge remarks. Sometimes when I'm losing really bad I also resort to more of a pleading technique like, "stop that" or "please be nice to me" or "NOoooo!". Jesse just laughs at my ridiculousness when I do that; it's obviously not part of video gaming talk. I'm getting better though, and soon, one day Jesse will really have to heed the warning of my trash talk.

Catch the wave.

Aussie Catch the Wave Mousse + Leave in Conditioner is the latest find by my very talented roommate Aubry. Not only is it a good price and can be found at grocery and drugstores, but it honestly leaves your hair feeling so delightfully soft and shiny.

Just thought I’d share the good news!

Reason why I love my llife...

Weekends like these...

This past weekend some of Jesse's friends came into town from Arizona. That's Ryan on the right. Look closely at his face.
Let's zoom in.

He made sure to cross his eyes. :)

I'm so grateful for the friends that make me laugh and make life just that much more beautiful.

We spent a night in the mountains, trying to build a fire from nothing.

And went to Midway....we stopped in Heber on the way so I could pose with the statue of my Great-great-great grandfather. I know, right? The blood in my veins... Jesse, just picking out the music for our little trip. I've very grateful for Jesse. He is constantly making me laugh, bringing excitement into my life. I love my friends.

Be inspired.

I'm really looking forward to a weekend of inspired words from our church leaders. This morning's session of general conference was delightful. I am very blessed to have the gospel of Jesus Christ our Savior in my life. General conference has always been a time of learning, inspiration, and personal revelation in my life.
